I did all my tertiary training at Massey University, majoring as an undergraduate student in microbiology, doing my masters degree on leptospirosis in deer and goats and my PhD on biofilms in the dairy industry. Currently, I am interested in food microbiology, particularly spceialising in biofilm formation and control
