The 2011 annual scientific meeting of the society, 'right here, right now', will be held at the Palmerston North Convention Centre from 23. - 25. November, 2011 and is being convened by Adrian Cookson and Steve Flint. Further information on the conference, as well as deadlines for registration, abstracts etc. can be obtained from the conference website.
The Annual General Meeting of NZMS (AGM2011) will take place during the annual scientific meeting. The time and venue will be announced later. The excutive urges all members to attend and to take an active role in shaping the future of the society. Below you will find further information of relevance to AGM2011.

As in previous years, the society will be endeavouring to support student attendence at the annual scientific meeting of the society (NZMS2011) to be held in Palmerston North from 23.-25. November, 2011. Further information for students wishing to apply for grants-in-aid can be found here.
Please take careful note of the eligibility criteria, in particular the need to join the society in order to access the funding available. Further exciting opportunities are also on there way, so there has never been a better time to join NZMS.
