Constitutional Changes
Several changes to the society's constitution had been proposed (see: November 2005 issue of NZBiosciences) and these were accepted by the membership at the 2006 AGM.
In principal these changes related to extending the maximum term of the president from two to three years and in rewording the constitution to make it gender neutral.
Election of Student Representative to the Executive Comittee
As adding an additional member to the executive requires further constitutional change, a non-voting student representative was seconded to the executive committee to represent student members affairs. Brent Seale kindly accepted this position for 2007.
